The DCT is non-profit agency in Tioga County, Pennsylvania specializing in supporting local non-profit organizations.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Deerfield Charitable Trust to make grants to charitable organizations located in northern Tioga County. These charitable organizations shall be organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and/or scientific purposes under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code and have received tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service. Qualified organizations include those that promote health and wellness and support the arts and further education.

Who can apply?

Any 501(c)3 public service organization, such as public libraries, fire companies, ambulance associations, Northern Tier Recreation Authority, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, boroughs and townships, softball and baseball organizations for projects that meet criteria.

• Applying organization must have charritable status as deteremined by the IRS
• Application must include one year of financial statments/990
• Applicant must include letter of determination from IRS
• Applicant must include email address and telephone number with other identifying information

Application Deadlines

Application due dates are April 1 and October 1 annually
